While New York City is a familiar place for many, there exists a facet of it separate from our human experience of the city’s urban sprawl. In this collection of photographs I attempt to uncover a hidden dimension of life in New York City. By documenting the ordinary lives of lower Manhattan’s non-human inhabitants, I try to reveal the fact that like us, these creatures are also a part of the never ending rat race that is living in one of the largest cities in the world.
